Privacy Policy

This notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights Texas residents have under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.

Last updated August 16, 2026

01Who we are

Lonestar Private AI is an AI automation studio based in Houston, Texas. Our mailing address is 1942 W Gray St #1522, Houston, TX 77019, and you can reach us at contact@lonestarprivateai.com.

This notice covers lonestarprivateai.com and the services we deliver directly to clients. It is written to meet the notice requirements of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Texas Business & Commerce Code, Chapter 541).

02Categories of personal data we process

  • Identifiers and contact data: name, business name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
  • Commercial data: the services you enquire about, proposals, invoices, and payment records.
  • Communications: form submissions, emails, call notes, and scheduling details.
  • Internet activity: IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed on this site.
  • Client materials you send us for a project, which may contain personal data about your own customers, patients, or employees.

03Purposes for processing

  • To respond to enquiries and schedule discovery calls.
  • To scope, build, train, support, and improve the automation you engage us for.
  • To send service-related messages about work in progress.
  • To invoice, keep accounting records, and meet legal obligations.
  • To maintain the security, integrity, and availability of our site and systems.

We process personal data only as reasonably necessary and proportionate to these purposes.

04Sensitive personal data

We do not seek sensitive personal data — such as health, precise geolocation, genetic or biometric identifiers, immigration status, or data about a known child — through this website. If an engagement genuinely requires it, we obtain your consent first and agree the handling in writing before you send anything.

We do not collect biometric identifiers (such as a voiceprint, face geometry, or fingerprint) for commercial purposes. If a project ever calls for it, we will obtain informed consent as required by Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 503 before any capture takes place.

NOTICE: We do not sell sensitive personal data. We do not sell biometric personal data.

05Sharing and sale of data

We share personal data with a small number of processors that operate our business — website hosting, email delivery, calendar scheduling, payment processing, and accounting. They act on our instructions under contract and may not use the data for their own purposes. We will name our current processors on request.

We also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer, in which case we would notify affected clients.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for targeted advertising, and we do not carry out profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for an individual.

06Client materials and training data

Material you send us for a project is used for that project only. Access is limited to the people doing the work, and one client's material is never used to train another client's model.

Where you send us personal data belonging to your own customers or employees, you remain the controller of that data and we act as your processor under the terms of your services agreement. We process it only on your documented instructions.

If an engagement ends without moving forward, we delete the evaluation material we hold for it on request, subject to any records we are required by law to keep.

07Retention

Enquiry records are kept while we follow up and for our general business records. Project material is retained for the life of the engagement and any agreed support period, then deleted or returned as set out in your contract. Tax and accounting records are kept for the periods Texas and federal law require.

08Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport for uploads and email, and limit who inside the company can reach client material. Our practices are described on our Security & Data Handling page. No system is perfect; our breach response and notification commitments are set out there and follow Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 521.

09Your Texas privacy rights

If you are a Texas resident, Chapter 541 gives you the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access that data.
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
  • Obtain a portable copy of data you provided to us, where processing is automated.
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects — none of which we currently carry out.

Residents of other states or countries may have comparable rights under their own laws; we honour equivalent requests wherever we reasonably can.

10How to submit a request

Email contact@lonestarprivateai.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We may ask for information to verify your identity, and we will not use it for anything else. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.

We respond within 45 days of receiving a request. If we need more time we may extend once by a further 45 days and will tell you why before the first period ends. There is no charge for the first request in a twelve-month period.

11Appeals

If we decline a request, our response will explain why and how to appeal. You have 60 days from that decision to appeal by replying to the same email address with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.

We will decide the appeal and give you a written explanation within 60 days. If the appeal is denied, we will provide a method for you to contact the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint, which you can also do directly at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

12Children

Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process data about a known child. If you believe a child's data reached us, contact us and we will delete it.

13Do Not Track and universal opt-out

Because we do not conduct targeted advertising or sell personal data, there is nothing for a browser Do Not Track signal or universal opt-out mechanism to switch off. If that ever changes we will update this notice and honour recognised opt-out signals as required by Texas law.

14Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.
