LEGAL

Acceptable Use Policy

Automation is powerful, so a few uses are off the table. This policy applies to our website and to any system we build or operate for you.

Last updated August 16, 2026

01Prohibited activity

You may not use our website, systems, or the automation we deliver to:

  • Break the law or help someone else break it.
  • Infringe intellectual property or share material you have no right to share.
  • Send unsolicited bulk commercial email or text messaging, or messaging with misleading headers or subject lines, contrary to the federal CAN-SPAM Act, the Texas Electronic Mail Solicitation Act (Texas Business & Commerce Code, Chapter 321), or the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any network, model, or account.
  • Introduce malware, or probe or overload our infrastructure.
  • Impersonate a person or organisation, or generate content designed to deceive people about who is speaking, including undisclosed synthetic voice, video, or likeness of a real person.
  • Capture or process biometric identifiers such as a voiceprint, face geometry, or fingerprint without the informed consent Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 503 requires.

02Prohibited AI purposes

Consistent with Texas law governing artificial intelligence systems, a system we build or operate may not be developed or deployed with the intent to:

  • Incite or encourage a person to harm themselves, harm another person, or commit a crime.
  • Unlawfully discriminate against a person or class of persons protected under state or federal law.
  • Infringe, restrict, or otherwise impair a person's constitutional rights.
  • Produce child sexual abuse material or unlawful deepfake sexual content.
  • Manipulate human behaviour through deceptive techniques to circumvent a person's informed decision-making.

Disparate performance discovered in testing is something we fix; using a system to discriminate on purpose ends the engagement.

03High-risk decisions

Automated output must not be the sole basis for decisions with serious consequences for a person — including credit, employment, housing, insurance, medical, or legal outcomes. Those decisions require a qualified human reviewer, and sector-specific law such as HIPAA, the FCRA, or Texas insurance and lending rules continues to apply to you.

04Data you supply

Only send us material you are permitted to share. If your material includes personal, medical, or financial records, tell us before you send it so we can agree the right handling and safeguards up front.

05Model integrity

Do not attempt to extract, copy, resell, or reverse engineer a model or tooling we provide, and do not deliberately feed a system false data to manipulate its behaviour for others.

06Enforcement

Texas law provides a cure period for certain claimed violations of its AI and privacy statutes, and we intend to use it in good faith. If we believe this policy is being violated we may suspend the affected system and, where required, notify the relevant authorities. We will tell you what we found and give you a chance to fix it whenever it is safe to do so.

07Reporting abuse

Report suspected misuse to contact@lonestarprivateai.com with as much detail as you can share. We review every report.
